21 février: Journée internationale de la langue maternelle 2018

L’UNESCO célèbre la Journée internationale de la langue maternelle depuis presque 20 ans maintenant avec pour objectif de préserver la diversité linguistique et de promouvoir l’éducation multilingue fondée sur la langue maternelle.

Projet du CELV «Vers un cadre européen commun de référence pour les enseignants de langue» : mise au point - janvier 2018

Un nouvel site web profils-langues.ch a été ouvert pour permettre aux enseignants de langues étrangères et futurs enseignants d’autoévaluer leurs compétences dans la langue-cible. Ce site web contient également des modèles de tâches pour une évaluation formative par les formateurs d’enseignants, basées sur les Profils de compétences langagières spécifiques des personnes enseignantes (disponibles ici en allemand, anglais, français et italien). Minority SafePack – Nous sommes un million à signer pour la diversité de l’Europe

Nous demandons à l’UE d’améliorer la protection des personnes appartenant à des minorités nationales et linguistiques et de renforcer la diversité culturelle et linguistique au sein de l’Union.

The position of the FUEN regarding the assault of the headquarters of the Hungarian minority organisation in Ukraine

Aggressions against the Hungarian minority protection organisations have become frequent in Ukraine. The offices of the KMKSZ in Uzhhorod were the target of aggressive acts for the second time this month. The FUEN firmly disproves of any form of intimidation and any and all acts which bypass proper democratic instruments. In our view the acts of vandalism of the offices of the KMKSZ were not only an aggression against the organisation itself, but an aggression against the Hungarian community in Ukraine. More...

All parties in the Basque Parliament encourage citizens to sign the MSPI

The European Foundation of Human Rights campaigns in Lithuania for the MSPI

The European Foundation of Human Rights (EFHR) is fully supportive of the Minority SafePack and is coordinating efforts to gain support in Lithuania. For this reason, EFHR has spread information via their official website as well as in their official Facebook page. It has handed flyers at Vilnius University and at Vilnius International School. It has also presented the initiative in several conferences and trainings such as at the branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius and at the Polish House of Culture. More...

The minority framework convention should refocus on traditional minorities

The occasion was the 20th jubilee of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities of the Council of Europe. The document contains essential regulations on education, participation, language rights and the access to media for national minorities in Europe.
