Erasmus + accompagne les personnes en situation de handicap

La démocratisation du programme Erasmus + est un des objectifs du programme pour la période 2014-2020. Erasmus + vise à promouvoir l'équité et l'inclusion en facilitant « l'accès des participants issus de milieux défavorisés et ayant moins de possibilités que leurs pairs, lorsque la situation de ces personnes limite ou empêche leur participation à des activités transnationales » . Parmi les facteurs limitant la mobilité de ces personnes, sont cités les obstacles socio-économiques, mais aussi le handicap ou les problèmes de santé :

handicap (à savoir les participants ayant des besoins particuliers) : personnes présentant un handicap mental (intellectuel, cognitif, ou trouble de l'apprentissage), physique, sensoriel, ou autre ;
problèmes de santé : personnes souffrant de problèmes de santé chroniques, de maladies graves ou de pathologies psychiatriques.

Une prise en charge complète des frais supplémentaires liés au handicap
Ce point est particulièrement intéressant pour les bénéficiaires potentiels du programme Erasmus +, puisque le programme prévoit une prise en charge particulière incluant les coûts additionnels concernant directement les participants handicapés et les personnes qui les accompagnent. Le programme prévoit également des financements supplémentaires pour permettre aux participants concernés d'avoir accès à des soutiens techniques et pédagogiques adaptés. L'intégralité des frais directement liés au handicap du participant et le cas échéant d'un accompagnateur est prise en charge par le programme, y compris les frais de voyage et de subsistance des accompagnants. La mobilité européenne des jeunes en situation de handicap

Le 24 avril dernier, à l'occasion des 5èmes Rencontres professionnelles de l'orientation des jeunes handicapés, les agences Erasmus + ont présenté les possiiblités offertes par le programme Erasmus +.
L'occasion de présenter les nouveautés du programme et les modalités de prise en charge des personnes en situation de handicap.
L'inclusion est une des priorités du programme Erasmus +. Les personnes en situation de handicap, et particulièrement les jeunes, font partie des publics cibles dits « ayant moins d'opportunités ».
Erasmus + vise à favoriser l'accès et la participation du plus grand nombre de personnes, y compris celles l es plus éloignées des dispositifs de mobilité, via différents leviers permettant :

un projet plus adapté : durée des projets (ex. : SVE plus court), tutorat renforcé ;
la diversification des partenaires et la mixité des publics (valides/non valides) ;
la prise en charge des coûts additionnels ;
la mise en place d'actions de coopération s'inscrivant dans la stratégie des agences nationales (journées d'information, formation, guides, séminaires, visites
d'étude, etc.).

Le handicap peut également être le thème des projets européens portés par les organisations.

Enquête Trends 2018 : participez !

La date limite pour l'enquête TRENDS 2018 a été prolongée jusqu'au 5 juin 2017. L'EUA encourage toutes les universités et établissements d'enseignement supérieur européens à participer. Les résultats de l'enquête alimenteront le rapport TRENDS 2018, que l'UE présentera à la Conférence ministérielle de Bologne de 2018. Voir l'article...

Georgian Ambassador to Deliver a Keynote at the ECMI Summer School 2017

We are pleased to share that the Ambassador of Georgia in the Federal Republic of Germany H.E. Lado Chanturia will deliver a keynote speech at the opening day of the ECMI Summer School 2017. The Federal Republic of Germany being the first state to recognize Georgia’s independence in 1991, diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in April 1992. FUEN advocates for a stronger and more powerful role of the regions in Europe

President of the European Parliament fully supports the FUEN Minority SafePack
