Un peu plus d'un tiers des étudiants a effectué un stage lors de l'année universitaire 2014-2015, proportion variable selon le cursus et le nombre d'années d'études après le bac.

La proportion de stagiaires est plus importante dans les formations professionnalisantes (D.U.T., licences professionnelles, formations d'ingénieurs) et augmente avec le nombre d'années d'études.
Les deux tiers des stages se déroulent dans la région administrative de l'établissement d'étude et près de la moitié d'entre eux sont gratifiés. 10 % se déroulent à l'étranger
