Germany - continuous growth of training allowances – comparison between West and East Germany
The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) has been carrying out yearly evaluations of training allowances based on collective wage agreements. These started in 1976 and use a cut-off date of October 1st. In 2015, average allowances were calculated for 180 occupations in West Germany and 149 in East Germany.
