eucen's chapter in the UNESCO Institute for LLL (UIL) latest publication

eucen's chapter has been written by Prof. Françoise de Viron, current President of eucen, and Pat Davies, consultant in higher education and lifelong learning and past eucen’s Executive Secretary and Projects Director. The chapter, entitled "From University Lifelong Learning to Lifelong Learning Universities: developing and implementing effective strategies", proposes a well-founded and already proven approach to enable universities, in collaboration with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, to develop their own specific strategy for becoming Lifelong Learning Universities.

eucen eLearning platform in Moodle

The eucen resources and eLearning platform is a space with modules or courses to help professionals in the area of ULLL (i.e. directors of centers, practitioners, academics, researchers, officers, etc) to develop their profession.
The main objective of eucen for creating this platform is to give tools to members of the network that can help them improve their ULLL profession or can help them offering to colleagues and employees targeted staff development online courses, directly connected to the area and nature of their jobs. The courses on this platform include different materials such as templates, documents, case studies, videos, etc to make the experience both interesting and useful.

eucen observatory on Lifelong Learning

The eucen observatory on Lifelong Learning was  developed in 2008-2009 by eucen with initial support from the DG Education and Culture, to enhance the lifelong learning policies of the European Commission, with the aim of developing Lifelong Learning at European level.
 
The objectives are to provide an understanding of the major European reforms that are taking place in Higher Education concerning Lifelong Learning. The observatory provides information on the major European Policies and three Processes for University Lifelong Learning:
-The Lisbon Process
-The Bologna Process
-The Copenhagen Process

The observatory also provides information about six important themes:
-Validation of non-formal and informal learning
-EQF
-Learning outcomes
-ECTS
-ECVET
