Afin de prévenir plus efficacement le décrochage et faciliter le retour vers l'école des décrocheurs, le plan d'action prévoit des parcours de formation spécifiques avec la validation modulaire et progressive de certaines spécialités de diplômes professionnels, la prise en compte des acquis et la conservation des notes au-dessus de 10 pour tous les candidats au bac ayant échoué à l'examen.
Concernant le nouveau droit au retour en formation des jeunes non qualifiés (Voir notre info), tous les leviers disponibles doivent être mobilisés pour que ce droit soit connu des jeunes et de leurs familles, et pour qu'un jeune soit rapidement pris en charge, que ce soit sous statut scolaire ou, en liaison avec les Régions, dans le cadre d'un contrat en alternance ou de la formation professionnelle continue.
