Russia must increase its outreach to a wider section of Indians
By . If Russia continues to remain a mysterious and distant country in the minds of most Indians, then the goodwill of the decades-past will slowly evaporate.
A week ago, at the Russia Day reception in one of Mumbai’s best five-star hotels, a Russian man in his late-30s introduced himself to me. Speaking in fluent Hindi, thanks to a couple of years of dedicated study of the language in Agra, he claimed to be a huge fan of the Russia & India Report.
