 The Canadian Alliance for Community Service-Learning (CACSL) supports, educates and networks to ensure the effective growth of CSL in Canada.  CAMPUS ENGAGE is a network for the promotion of civic engagement activities in Irish higher education. It is an initiative funded by the Irish government, through the Higher Education Authority (HEA) Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF 1). The current Campus Engage partners are: Dublin City University, National University of Ireland, Galway (lead partner), National University of Ireland, Maynooth, University College Dublin and the University of Limerick. The network aims to strengthen the relationship between higher education and the wider society, through promoting civic engagement activities in higher education in Ireland and facilitating the sharing of knowledge and resources between academic and civic communities.  AUCEA is a not-for-profit organisation committed to fostering university-community engagement throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region. We aim to achieve excellence in university-community engaged teaching and research, to further develop communities, and to shape our future citizens by working together – within and outside the higher education sector.  Campus Compact is a national coalition of almost 1,200 college and university presidents—representing some 6 million students—who are committed to fulfilling the civic purposes of higher education. As the only national higher education association dedicated solely to campus-based civic engagement, Campus Compact promotes public and community service that develops students’ citizenship skills, helps campuses forge effective community partnerships, and provides resources and training for faculty seeking to integrate civic and community-based learning into the curriculum.
