Martine Reicherts, Director General for Education and Culture at the European Commission, joined the EUA Council meeting at the end of January to discuss higher education policy matters with the presidents and secretaries general of the national rectors’ conferences.
Reicherts was invited to address the Council in the context of the upcoming revision of the Modernisation Agenda for Higher Education launched by the Commission in late 2015.
