In order to be successful, universities need to be able to take their own decisions. The University Autonomy Tool lets you compare university autonomy in 29 European higher education systems. It focuses on four autonomy areas and ranks countries according to the level of autonomy they have in each of these. The site mostly describes the state of university autonomy in late 2010.

On 7 May, the EUA Research Policy Working Group (RPWG) met at the British Antarctic Survey headquarters at the University of Cambridge, UK, to discuss EUA activities in the area of research and innovation.
Concerning the implementation of the European Research Area (ERA), RPWG members agreed to move forward with the signature of a Joint Declaration between the European Commission and the ERA Stakeholders Platform (ERA SHOs). This Joint Declaration reinforces EUA’s commitment to encourage its large university membership to continue to carry out the actions set in the Memorandum of Understanding of 2012. EUA has launched the Trends 2015 report, which presents the universities’ perceptions of the changes that have taken place in European higher education over the past five years, particularly in relation to learning and teaching. Based on survey responses of 451 higher education institutions from 46 countries (48 higher education systems), the report outlines the changing context in which higher education institutions operate.
In most EHEA countries, universities are coping with the consequences of the economic crisis, which in some places is paired with negative demographic trends and migration. The report identifies a number of steps taken by universities to respond to this context as well as to other European and international trends.

Autre possibilité : déposer votre CV en ligne. Les employeurs, en s’enregistrant, peuvent accéder aux CV des demandeurs d’emploi et trouver ainsi leurs collaborateurs. Ce CV peut être complété par un passeport de compétences. Ce passeport offre la possibilité de décrire les compétences acquises dans un secteur spécifique (l’hôtellerie et restauration par exemple). Une section du site est aussi plus particulièrement consacrée aux diplômés de l’enseignement supérieur.

Students may go abroad from 2 to 12 months. The same student may receive grants for studying or being trained abroad totalling up to 12 months maximum per cycle of study.
Students must be registered in a higher education institution and enrolled in studies leading to a recognised degree or other recognised tertiary level qualification (up to and including the level of doctorate). Erasmus students are selected by their sending higher education institution in a fair and transparent way.
Receiving organisations for traineeships can be any public or private organisations active in the labour market.
