The event will gather 4,000 athletes from different universities that will compete in 13 different disciplines such as Badminton, Basketball, Football, Judo, Tennis, Volleyball among others.
In addition to the sports competitions, the European Universities Games will include workshops and conferences about Anti-Doping, Inclusion, Dual Career and other aspects of sports within the university environment.
The initiative aims to involve more students into the practice of sports and also transmit their inherent positive values such as teamwork, tolerance, fair play, unit, social inclusion and the value of practice.
