Communiqué de la CPU sur le rapport Mathiot

Après avoir été associée à la réflexion menée en amont du rapport sur la réforme du baccalauréat que Pierre Mathiot a remis au Ministre de l’Education nationale, la CPU se félicite d’y voir plusieurs de ses propositions reprises. Il s’agit notamment de la limitation du nombre d’épreuves terminales ; de la place plus importante donnée au contrôle continu des connaissances ; d’une meilleure articulation entre les programmes enseignés au lycée et dans l’enseignement supérieur ; et de l’approche par compétences et connaissances plutôt que par niveau. Globalement, la cohérence entre le parcours de formation et les projets d’études depuis le lycée jusque dans le supérieur se trouverait ainsi renforcée. Plus...

EUA reacts to new “Key Competences for Lifelong Learning”

The European Commission has issued its proposal for the Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning, which is a revision of the 2006 Key Competences. The latest version is adjusted to recent changes that have taken place in education and society. For example, rather than “literacy”, the document now emphasises “media literacy”. EUA responds to Digital Education Action Plan

On 17 January 2018, the European Commission issued its “Digital Education Action Plan” – the EU’s first major intervention in the field of digital education since the 2013 “Opening up Education” Communication. EUA issues Energy Action Agenda for universities

Produced by the EUA European Platform of Universities in Energy (EUA-EPUE) after the extensive three-year UNI-SET project, the Action Agenda promotes innovative education and research activities in the field and seeks to support the ambitions of many universities across Europe to strengthen their existing initiatives. It lists concrete examples and suggestions for education programmes in the fields of energy systems and smart grids, renewables integration, and energy efficiency.
