The Repository Open Search platform of Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) comprises a Research collection and a collection of Open Educational Resources (OERs).
The Open Access Research Archive is a centralised store of research outputs that can be accessed free of charge by anyone. It also includes citation information of Leeds Met research, though the intention is to provide full text access wherever possible.
The OER Repository is a store of Open Educational Resources produced at Leeds Met that are freely available for reuse under a Creative Commons licence.

The HumBox is a trusted, user-friendly and attractive online space for storing, managing and publishing Humanities teaching resources on the web. 
HumBox offers over 1,100 digital Humanities resources in a variety of media, including videos, podcasts, hand-outs, interactive online activities, PowerPoint lectures etc.
The HumBox project lasted for one year (April 2009-April 2010) and had the general aim of encouraging the publication and sharing of learning resources by and across subject communities within the Humanities field, and promoting interest in the study of these disciplines in UK Higher Education while raising the profile of UK HE worldwide.
The project was part of a wider Open Educational Resources initiative funded by the JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) and the HEA, to showcase UK Higher Education by encouraging teachers within HE institutions to publish excellent teaching and learning resources openly on the web. The University College London (UCL) offers a wide array of Open Educational Resources (OER) to learners and educators worldwide. These free OERs may be complete courses, recorded lectures or seminars, presentations, individual learning activities, reading lists, assessment tasks and materials and also study tools or information about good practice.
The OER@UCL web site serves as a central point for OER related information and activities around UCL.
The University College London OERs can be found in public repositories, such as Jorum, in file-sharing sites such as YouTube, iTunesU or Flickr or in institutional repositories such as OpenLearn (UK) or MIT Courseware.
These sources are either in the public domain or released under licences – for example, Creative Commons - that allow them to be re-used and modified without charge, for educational purposes.

The OpenCourseWare Repository (OCW) of the University of Cantabria (Spain) offers free teaching and learning materials produced by its faculty.
The University of Cantabria OCW site includes a wide range of content, tools, and resources to support learning and teaching efforts. The curated collections include a wide array of courses from the Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Law, Engineering and Architecture schools. URL: http://ocw.unican.es/.

The Leiden University OpenCourseWare website shares free educational resources from several bachelor and master teaching programmes, in areas such as Archaeology, International Relations and Diplomacy and ICT in Business.
The repository offers a taste of the courses’ content, such as videos, exercises, presentations, examples of student works and lectures. The materials are free to use under a Creative Commons license.
Through OCW, Leiden University (the Netherlands) wants to share knowledge and make the best educational use of the Internet's potential. The bachelor and master programmes involved are convinced that sharing “the real stuff” is a perfect way to reach out to students, professors, life-long learners, organisations and colleagues all around the globe. Federica is the e-learning portal of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), offering more than 300 courses and 5,000 lessons free and open to all.
Federica offers four learning environments for studying and learning:

Trio is an educative online platform developed by the Tuscany (Italy) regional authorities to promote lifelong learning and facilitate the acquisition of professional certificates.
Trio offers about 1,700 courses on a wide array of areas and access to a series of counselling services, a help desk and online forums. All courses and services are totally free for registered users.
