LeMill is a multilingual and multicultural online
LeMill is a multilingual and multicultural online community for finding, authoring and sharing free Open Educational Resources (OERs). Primary targeted to teachers, it was originally developed between 2005 and 2008 by a team of the Media Lab at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (Finland).
LeMill is not a Learning Management System (LMS), but a website engine to author and share learning resources. All content in the LeMill server is free and open, and it may be used for teaching or learning. Users can add their own content to LeMill and join groups within the community producing or editing learning resources.
As of August 2013 the LeMill community is integrated by almost 40,000 teachers from 239 countries and offers more than 65,300 learning resources in 86 languages.
