Das Machtwort des Bundesrats im Streit um die Titel der höheren Berufsbildung war deutlich: Akademisch klingende Titel wie «Professional Bachelor» hätten auf der Berufsschiene nichts zu suchen, sagte Bildungsminister Johann Schneider-Ammann im vergangenen Sommer. Verschiedene Vertreter der höheren Berufsbildung hatten gefordert, dass ihre Absolventen – etwa Techniker, Schreinermeister oder Marketingfachleute – ihre Titel mit der Bezeichnung «Professional Bachelor» oder «Professional Master» ergänzen dürfen.
