UNICA-Santander-Compostela joint workshop on academic collaboration between European and Sub-Saharan universities

The 4th UNICA (Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe), Santander Group and Compostela Group workshop will take place at the University of Kent - Brussels Campus in Belgium on 4 June 2013.
The workshop will focus on academic collaboration between European and Sub-Saharan universities. It aims to explore the tertiary landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa and provide hands-on examples of Europe-Africa academic cooperation initiatives, presenting different funding opportunities available, challenges faced during the projects' implementation and the response to them, as well as activities aimed at ensuring the sustainability of initiatives.
Elizabeth Colucci, Programme Manager at EUA, is due to speak at the workshop.
