Les représentants du personnel, titulaires et suppléants, dans les CHSCT mis en place dans la fonction publique de l'Etat (ou à défaut, dans les comités techniques qui exercent leurs compétences) doivent bénéficier d'une formation d'au moins 5 jours au cours de leur mandat. Elle doit être renouvelée à chaque mandat.
Un décret indique que cette formation est inscrite, de plein droit, au plan de formation de l'administration. Son contenu doit répondre aux même objectifs que celle dont bénéficie les salariés des CHSCT du secteur privé.

Séminaire à Poitiers sur les discriminations dans les organismes de formation
Les responsables des organismes de formation constatent une montée des pratiques discriminantes dues à des préjugés et stéréotypes de la part de leurs personnels et/ou du public accueilli.
Pour le comité de pilotage du Contrat d’Objectifs Territorial (COT) « Métiers de la Formation », la lutte contre les discriminations, sous toutes ses formes, dans les organismes de formation est prioritaire.
