Travail. Un essai sur les "emplois inutiles"

L'anthropologue David Graeber, également professeur à la London School of Economics, vient de publier un essai intitulé "Bullshit Jobs" ("boulots à la con") dans lequel il explore les racines de ce phénomène. S'il explique que ces emplois considérés comme inutiles par ceux qui les exercent ont toujours existé, il précise qu'ils se sont "multipliés de façon exponentielle ces dernières années", provoquant un manque de sens au travail et un fort sentiment d'inutilité sociale.

Closing the gap between university presses and libraries

MIT Press and the University of Michigan Press have both announced plans to start selling their e-book collections directly to libraries by creating their own distribution platforms, writes Lindsay McKenzie for Inside Higher Ed.
