UK expertise will shape reform of Albania's universities

QAA has been chosen to work with Albania on reforming the quality of its university sector. 
Following a critical review of its higher education provision against legal and technical requirements in August 2014, the Albanian Government closed a third of its institutions. During the summer of 2015, it passed a series of laws to enable reform of its higher education sector. 
On 29 February​, the Albanian Government will sign a contract with QAA to provide expertise to support the review of Albanian universities and capacity building of higher education quality assurance in that country. More...
