Go8-CSC MoU signed to increase two-way mobility

The Group of Eight (Go8) signed an MoU with the globally prestigious China Scholarship Council (CSC) on 15 April 2015, aiming to promote the two-way flow of university students and staff between Australia and China.
The non-profit CSC was set up by the Chinese government to promote mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in politics, economics, culture, education and trade between China and other countries. The Chinese Ministry of Education has responsibility for administration and program enrolments. The CSC offers merit-based student mobility scholarships that fund to “outstanding” international undergraduate and post graduate students to study at designated universities in China and overseas.
