Issues of govt-run universities in city go unnoticed
The allegations of corruption and mismanagement in the government-run universities of Karachi have created unrest in students, teachers and parents, but the authorities concerned have so far adopted a wait and see approach instead of taking firm action against corrupt elements.
Teachers and management of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) have been trading serious allegations through a media war but the government and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) have turned the blind eye towards this mess. More...
