EU long term committment for Myanmar universities
European Union has pledged to assist improving qualities of Myanmar universities in long term, David Lipman, the EU Ambassador to Myanmar, said at the workshop on “Quality of Higher Education” jointly held by the EU and the Ministry of Education, Myanmar in Yangon on February 8-9.
During the workshop, both parties focused on the academic matters and the qualities of teaching aids and universities to catch up with the standards of international universities and the EU.
Ministry of Education is currently taking the evaluation process of universities nationwide, said the officials of the ministry. The processes have been undertaking in line with the international standard. Later the ministry hopes to invite organizations and associations of international universities to appraise the Myanmar universities. Read more...
