Soft diplomacy along the New Silk Road

Université : les filières regroupées en quatre « grands domaines »

CARIF-OREF Ile de La RéunionLes étudiants durant leur inscription à l’université découvrent actuellement une nouvelle offre de formation. Les disciplines déjà existantes sont désormais regroupées en quatre grands domaines : Arts Lettres Langues(ALL), Droit Economie Gestion (DEG), Sciences Humaines et Sociales (SHS) et Sciences Technologies Santé (STS).

Pour faciliter cette période de transition, différentes mesures ont été mises en amont avant la période des inscriptions.
Ce regroupement des filières vise un double objectif :
•    Limiter les abandons ainsi que les mauvaises orientations.
•    Permettre aux étudiants de découvrir de nombreuses matières en lien avec son domaine afin d’affiner ses choix d’orientation.

Cette nouvelle formule engendre des changements dans l’organisation de l’année universitaire de certains étudiants. Certaines matières initialement enseignées en deuxième année de licence basculent en troisième année.
Pour les étudiants qui ont déjà suivi ces enseignements, ils seront exemptés de cours.
Les étudiants inscrits en troisième année de licence et en deuxième année de master ne sont pas concernés par cette nouvelle formule.

Open education the sustainable way in the knowledge age

26th ICDE World Conference

The International Council for Open and Distance Education, or ICDE, is holding its world conference in the mega-resort Sun City, north of Johannesburg in South Africa, from 14-16 October, hosted by the University of South Africa.
