ECMI will teach in Swansea

The ECMI course on ‘The European Minority Rights and Minority Protection Regime’ will be a part of the curriculum of the LLM in Human Rights Programme at the College of Law and Criminology (Coleg y Gyfraith a Throseddeg). The position of the FUEN regarding the assault of the headquarters of the Hungarian minority organisation in Ukraine

The offices of the KMKSZ in Uzhhorod were the target of aggressive acts for the second time this month. The FUEN firmly disproves of any form of intimidation and any and all acts which bypass proper democratic instruments. The minority framework convention should refocus on traditional minorities

The document contains essential regulations on education, participation, language rights and the access to media for national minorities in Europe. Currently, it has been ratified by 39 out of the 47 Member states of the Council of Europe, making it the most important agreement on minority protection at the level of international law. More...
