Plusieurs courants contributeurs à la conception des robots (ils se reconnaitront) semblent confusément (on l'espère) considérer que nombre de tâches et d'activités de travail sont plutôt mal assurées par les humains. Ces courants se divisent en deux familles complémentaires : l'une se focalise sur les différents défauts de l'activité humaine au regard des impératifs de rentabilité, l'autre se concentre sur les différents volets (physique et psychique) de la pénibilité au travail. We have now secured sufficient funding to at least complete the survey, thanks to further grants of $80,000 from eCampus Ontario’s Research and Innovation fund, and $20,000 from Pearson Canada. Women in ICT & engineering: #Gender barriers & solutions #educon17

The educon panel was sharing their own stories (being female pioneers, or lack of role models), the clear barrier related to policies stereotyping gender roles, constructed family values allocated to boys and girls, need for dedicated female networks, and the clear glass ceiling when looking at leadership roles for women in IT and engineering).
