UNESCO, CAMES join forces to shore up higher education

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Higher Education Council for Africa and Madagascar (CAMES) are committed to clinching a successful partnership aimed at strengthening higher education in Africa, officials of the body told APA Monday.
Struck in the French capital Paris, the agreement covers joint efforts in advocacy and capacity building in quality assurance of higher education.
The focus is on the development of good practices and collaboration with like-minded bodies in other parts of Africa and the world. More...
