10th Anniversary of the European Charter and Code for Researchers

On 3 March the European Commission hosted a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Over 200 university Deans, Rectors and HR Managers of research institutions that have implemented the Charter and Code received the ‘HR Excellence in Research Award’ for their efforts to improve the working conditions for researchers in Europe. The participants shared views and experiences on the impact and benefits of running a Human Resource Strategy for Researchers in their institution.
