A new study by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has highlighted the urgent need for action on gender equity in the workforce, finding that women make up just a quarter of those employed in key management positions and that the average full-time earnings for men are almost 25 per cent more than women.
The data released today also shows why the Government must abandon its plans to water down requirements for employers to report this data if we are to reverse the alarming increase in the gender pay gap. More...
