The Fulbright Program: Too Remarkable to Be Cut

By G. David Gearhart. The greatest international-exchange program for students and scholars in the world, the Fulbright Program, is in danger. President Obama’s proposed budget calls for cuts of more than $30-million in the program, seriously harming its ability to fulfill its critical international mission of peace through education.
