Heroes and Monsters conference speakers and Monster Picture Show announced
A zombified keynote for the HEA’s third annual Arts and Humanities conference is announced today, along with the chance for students to be part of a large-scale audio-visual presentation at the Imperial War Museum North.
Jesse Stommel, Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities at University of Wisconsin-Madison will give the day two keynote speech at the conference which takes place in Manchester, 2-4 June. Jesse’s work focuses on lifelong learning and the public digital humanities, and he is Founder, Director, and CEO of Hybrid Pedagogy: a digital journal of learning, teaching, and technology. He co-created the "epic zombiefied experiment in Twitter literacy, gamification, collaboration, and emergent learning" Twitter vs Zombies, and his Heroes and Monsters keynote will be ‘Zombie Pedagogies: Embodied Learning in the Digital Age’.
