Italian court rules in favor of linguistic protectionism
In a bid to attract foreign students, universities across Europe are switching to lessons to English. But the move has sparked resistance. In Italy, a court denied a flagship institution the right to teach in English. Computer science professor Giuseppe Serazzi starts his weekly lecture at Milan's Polytechnic University with a brief introduction in Italian.
