FUEN: Minorities always have to be involved in all decisions affecting them

A member organisation of the FUEN, the Macedonian Association "Ilinden" from Albania, recently informed the FUEN about incorrect statements regarding the minorities in Albania that were adopted as part of the European Parliament’s resolution on the 2017 Progress Report on Albania. According to the President of Ilinden, Nikola Gjurgjaj, the final version of the resolution might affect the rights and interests of the Macedonians living in Albania. More...

The hosts of the FUEN Congress 2017 are ready to welcome their guests in Transsylvania

"FUEN will be at home in Transsylvania. The delegates and our guests will have the chance to present an up-to-date situation of the minorities and their proposals for Europe and the member states. We would also like our guests to get to know better our region, the Hungarian community and other nationalities in Romania and eventually become ambassadors of our cause wherever they go" - stated the President of FUEN at the group meeting of the Hungarian (RMDSZ) members in the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament. FUEN supports the German Minority in Poland

For more than a year the German minority in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland has been protesting against the expansion of the city of Opole. Through the administrative reform, municipalities inhabited by the German minority were annexed to the city.
