This is an odd article in that it describes Connexions as "an online library where colleagues can submit professional journal articles and review the work of their peers." Clarence Fisher points to a new website for students and teachers, Captain Copyright, providing free lesson plans and materials. The site, which appears to be promoted by Canada's copyright clearance industry (see the heavy-handed IP notice), is thinly veiled propaganda - the copyright violator in the kids' carton actually steals the drawings from the comic book artist before selling them in the hall for a quarter each. An email from the association to its members Tuesday evening said in part, "CETROM, the data center that hosts AERA’s website and contact database provided by JL Systems, was a victim of a severe computer virus attack on Friday morning, May 24.
