On 30 April 2016, the Australian Government released the National Strategy for International Education 2025. It sets out a 10-year plan for developing Australia’s role as a global leader in education, training and research. It provides a framework of priorities for the Australian international education community to strengthen and grow the sector.
The key focus areas of the National Strategy are described through three pillars:

• Strengthening the fundamentals – across Australia’s education systems
• Transformative partnerships – across the breadth of linkages between people, institutions and governments
• Competing globally – strengthening our brand, coordination and reputation.

The Australian Government will provide $12 million over four years from 2016–17 to support implementation of the National Strategy for International Education 2025.

Digital technologies are being incorporated in exciting and promising ways at all levels of education. To consolidate progress and to ensure scale and sustainability education institutions need to review their organisational strategies in order to enhance their capacity for innovation and to exploit the full potential of digital technologies and content. This report presents the European Framework for Digitally-Competent Educational Organisations (DigCompOrg). This framework can facilitate transparency and comparability between related initiatives throughout Europe and play a role in addressing fragmentation and uneven development across the Member States. The primary purposes of DigCompOrg framework are (i) to encourage self-reflection and self-assessment within educational organisations as they progressively deepen their engagement with digital learning and pedagogies (ii) to enable policy makers to design, implement and evaluate policy interventions for the integration and effective use of digital learning technologies. Indicateurs Europe 2020 relatifs à l’emploi - Le taux d’emploi des 20-64 ans dans l’UE supérieur à 70% en 2015 - Ceux des femmes et des 55-64 ans au plus haut.

The challenge of the Action is to enable the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) to better demonstrate their true place in academia and society. To do so, the Action proposes to bring together different strands of work consecrated to SSH research evaluation, currently under development in different parts of Europe, in order to gain momentum, to exchange best practices and results, and to avoid unnecessary duplication. Its main aims, deeply interrelated, are:

- to improve evaluation procedures in order to take into account the diversity and the wealth of SSH research;
- to make a robust case for the ways in which the SSH add value to the society;
- to help SSH scholars better appropriate their research agenda and overcome fragmentation. Voir l'article...

La loi a été promulguée le 20 avril 2016 et publiée au Journal officiel du 21 avril 2016.
Le texte définitif du projet de loi relative à la déontologie et aux droits et obligations des fonctionnaires mis au point par la Commission mixte paritaire avait été  adopté par l’Assemblée nationale le 5 avril 2016 et par le Sénat le 7 avril 2016.
Trente ans après la loi du 13 juillet 1983, ce texte consacre certaines valeurs, déjà reconnues par la jurisprudence, qui fondent la spécificité de l’action des agents publics : le fonctionnaire exerce ses fonctions avec dignité, impartialité, intégrité et probité ; est tenu à une obligation de neutralité dans l’exercice de ses fonctions ; exerce ses fonctions dans le respect du principe de laïcité et, à ce titre, s’abstient de manifester ses opinions religieuses ; traite les personnes, notamment les usagers du service public, de manière égale ; respecte la liberté de conscience et la dignité des personnes.
