In the news this week is the story of a professor who quit his own MOOC half way through. The Chronicle provides one side of the story - "the problem had stemmed from Mr. McKenzie’s reluctance to loosen his grip on students who he thought were not learning well in the course" - but we read from these tweets quite a different perspective: "What he didn't like most was the students who WERE informed, but were fighting back on his rigorous rational economics model. He didn't like criticism from those knowledgeable at economics. And the text that was not free was HIS!" (Tweets combined and edited for spelling.) More...

As it turns out he might not have been wrong – maybe Noble was simply so miraculously prescient that I couldn’t see what he saw." Un Mooc à destination des formateurs

Le Mooc "professionnaliser en formation", organisé par l’université de Rouen Normandie se déroulera du 4 mars au 27 avril 2019. Il s’adresse aux professionnels de la formation et abordera le concept de professionnalisation, ses enjeux, ses atouts et ses limites.
L’université de Rouen Normandie s’est notamment associée au Cafoc de Normandie et au Greta de l’académie de Rouen pour proposer un cours en ligne (Mooc) sur le portail numérique de l’enseignement supérieur.
