Brexit: Funding confirmed for EU students applying for 2017-2018

On 11 October 2016, government officials in the UK announced that EU students applying for entrance into an English higher education institution for the 2017-2018 academic year will continue to be eligible for student loans and grants for the duration of their degree course.
This means that EU students will be able to access the same funding they are entitled to now. Officials also stressed that the arrangement will be valid even if the UK exits the Union during the coursework period. More...

Nine universities sign up for IEP evaluations in 2016-2017

Africa-EU Harmonisation, Quality Assurance and Accreditation Initiative holds launch event

The Africa-EU Harmonisation, Quality Assurance and Accreditation Initiative (HAQAA) held its launch event on 20 September 2016 in Windhoek, Namibia.
The initiative supports the implementation of the Pan-African Quality Assurance and Accreditation Framework (PAQAF), which aims for the capacity development of the national and regional quality assurance (QA) and accreditation bodies in Africa, and helps the African higher education institutions in developing their own QA processes. Teachers' and School Heads' Salaries and Allowances in Europe – 2015/16
