Le Comité régional de l'emploi, de la formation et de l'orientation professionnelles (CREFOP) est une instance régionale de gouvernance quadripartite, Etat, Région, organisations syndicales de salariés et organisations professionnelles d’employeurs.
Le Plénier et le bureau sont présidés conjointement par le Préfet de région et le Président du Conseil régional. La vice-présidence en est assurée conjointement par un représentant des organisations professionnelles d'employeurs et un représentant des organisations syndicales de salariés. Le Comité régional de l'emploi, de la formation et de l'orientation professionnelles (CREFOP) a pour mission d'assurer la coordination entre les acteurs régionaux des politiques d'emploi, d'orientation, de formation professionnelles ainsi que la cohérence des programmes de formation.
Instance régionale quadripartite, le CREFOP favorise la concertation entre l’État, la Région et les représentants des salariés et des employeurs.
Cette instance de concertation régionale a été créée par la loi du 5 mars 2014 relative à la formation professionnelle,à l’emploi et à la démocratie sociale. Ses missions et sa composition sont fixées par le Décret n°2014-1055 du 16 septembre 2014.
Le Comité est chargé :

• des fonctions de diagnostic, d'étude, de suivi et d'évaluation des politiques en lien avec le Conseil national de l'emploi, de la formation et de l'orientation professionnelles (CNEFOP)
• d’émettre des avis sur un ensemble de sujets prévus par la réglementation.
• d’établir chaque année un bilan régional des actions financées au titre de l'emploi, de la formation et de l'orientation professionnelles.

Suite à la fusion des régions Nord – Pas de Calais et Picardie au 1er janvier 2016, un nouveau CREFOP Hauts-de-France a été mis en place.
Le CREFOP est organisé en Comité plénier, Bureau et Secrétariat permanent. Pour assurer ses missions, il se dote des commissions et groupes de travail nécessaires à son fonctionnement. L'organisation et les conditions de fonctionnement des différentes instances sont régis dans le cadre d'un règlement intérieur.
Le CREFOP Hauts-de-France compte 4 commissions :

• Information, orientation et évolution professionnelle
• Formation initiale, professionnelle et territoires
• Emploi et mutations économiques
• Diagnostic, évaluation des politiques d'emploi, de formation et d'orientation

Les comités techniques mis en place :

• Comité technique permanent du CPRDFOP - Contrat de Plan Régional de Développement des Formations et de l'Orientation Professionnelles
• Comité technique CNCP -  Commission Nationale de la Certification Professionnelle

Un arrêté en date du 17 juillet 2017 intègre les CREFOP dans la liste des instances donnant droit à autorisation d’absence de la part des employeurs. When talking about U-Multirank, the Bertelsmann Stiftung (Foundation) cannot be forgotten. One of the indicators we regard as very innovative in U-Multirank – the largest university ranking in the world -  is the interdisciplinarity indicator. Its inclusion as one of the research indicators in these world raknings is driven by our aim to show an additional characteristic of an institution’s research. When people want to assess the research performance of a university they often look at bibliometric indicators such as citation rates, or the number of a university’s research publications that belong to the top 10% most frequently cited publications worldwide. While these are important indicators, there is more to research performance than just these. Important scientific discoveries these days often take place at the intersection of different disciplines. And many of today’s societal challenges are wicked problems that are multidisciplinary in character, requiring the use of methods and insights from several established disciplines.
