Europe defies climate change: Kick-off meeting of the TeRRIFICA project
Eight European institutions start to work together to foster competence for climate change adaptation in different European regions with a specific focus on Responsible Research and Innovation. Legal experts work on legislative proposals based on the Minority SafePack Initiative
The Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) has drafted the first summary of the legislative proposals based on the Minority SafePack European Citizen's Initiative. The fifty page document prepared by the team of European legal experts includes provisions regulating all areas of minority protection addressed by the initiative, as well as the motivation of the measures proposed in the fields of education, culture, language rights, public administration, regional funds, media, Roma rights, state aid and the issues related to stateless minorities. Members of the Croatian Community in Slovenia visited the German-Danish border region
From 16th-18th January FUEN received a visit from the members of the Croatian Cultural Association Komušina from Slovenia within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Mobility Programme. The visit's main goal was to gain new knowledge and contacts from the German-Danish border region and to learn from best-practice exampleson how to encourage minority members to actively participate and engage in the local commmunities. Séjours des jeunes à l’étranger : des objectifs européens partiellement atteints, mais un accès encore inégal à la mobilité
Un indicateur européen, calculé en partie grâce aux données de l’enquête Génération, montre que la France est plutôt bien positionnée en matière de mobilité à l’étranger de ses étudiants en cours d’études, même si la cible 2020 n’est pas encore atteinte. En revanche, les jeunes sortis de l’enseignement secondaire professionnel ou de l’apprentissage sont très peu nombreux à partir à l’étranger dans un cadre lié à leur formation. Ces indicateurs ne rendent toutefois pas compte de la diversité des expériences à l’étranger en cours d’études de l’ensemble des jeunes sortis du système éducatif une année donnée. Plus...
