ESU at UNESCO’s Meeting of NGO’s working towards Education 2030

ESU OnlineESU’s Executive Committee Member Beth Button attended UNESCO’s Collective Consultation Meeting of NGO’s working towards Education 2030. The meeting took place between 8-9 May  in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This group meets every 2-3 years, bringing together civil society organisations who are working to further progress on the Sustainable Development Goals relating to education, and is a key UNESCO mechanism for strengthened dialogue, common reflection and revitalized partnerships. ESU’s input on the ERASMUS+ programme midterm review

ESU OnlineThe European Students’ Union (ESU) calls on the European Commission to increase accessibility and quality of the ERASMUS+ programme, providing more opportunities for students and staff members from underrepresented backgrounds to participate in mobility programmes.
In the next period (2021-2027) more resources should be allocated to ERASMUS+ programme or its successor. Currently, the  ERASMUS+ programme receives only 1.36% of the EU budget. More...
