India Calling

By Tracy Mitrano. This week I am in India. To be more specific, as I write, I am in Jaipur, at a three star hotel, and there is a cow mooing outside my room. The contrasts are extraordinary: unlike the United States, which tends to segregate its poverty and riches, these qualities exist side by side. Writing for academic journals is highly competitive. Even if you overcome the first hurdle and generate a valuable idea or piece of research - how do you then sum it up in a way that will capture the interest of reviewers?

Qu'est-ce que le CIF ?
Vous avez été embauché(e) en contrat à durée déterminée, dans le secteur privé. Quelle que soit la taille de votre entreprise, le CIF CDD vous permet de suivre à votre initiative une formation afin d'améliorer votre vie professionnelle, d'exercer une activité dans le domaine culturel ou dans le secteur associatif tout en étant rémunéré(e).
Vous avez le choix de la formation qu'elle ait un lien ou pas avec votre emploi actuel.

FONGECIF Poitou-Charentes - Le Congé Individuel de formation et la FHTT

Le Congé individuel de formation a pour objet de permettre à tout salarié en CDI, au cours de sa vie professionnelle, de suivre, à son initiative et à titre individuel, des actions de formation, indépendamment de sa participation aux stages compris dans le plan de formation de l'entreprise dans laquelle il exerce son activité.
Ces actions de formation peuvent permettre au salarié de :

Changer d'activité ou de profession par une reconversion
Acquérir une nouvelle qualification ou une qualification supérieure
Perfectionner et élargir ses compétences
S'ouvrir plus largement à la culture et à la vie sociale

Ces actions de formation peuvent se dérouler sur le temps de travail dans le cadre d'une autorisation d'absence accordée par l'employeur. Elles sont rémunérées sous certaines conditions.
Pour suivre cette formation, le salarié peut bénéficier, dans certains cas, d'un financement du Fongecif Poitou-Charentes
