QS University Rankings: Arab Region

QS University Rankings – Regional Rankings

The new rankings for Asia, Latin America and the Arab world covered 650 universities in total, using slightly different methodologies to the QS World University Rankings to take account of differing regional priorities and to expand the number of universities that could be included. More...

Good news! The Academic Reputation Dataset is now on Tableau

But before I explain what the changes are for the user, let me get back to what this service really is. 
The Academic Reputation Dataset is a data-rich solution for measuring academic performance and institutional brand recognition. It is a benchmarking tool exclusive for World Top 300 institutions that enables them to further analyse their academic performance and institutional brand perception, comparing it against a selection of at least 15 peers over a period of 3 years. QS University Rankings: BRICS 2015 released

QS University Rankings: Asia

QS University Rankings: Latin America

QS’s 2015 University Rankings for Latin America show that the region’s biggest and most populous country is also home to its top universities. Brazil’s University of Sao Paulo has come top in our fifth Latin American ranking, with Unicamp, the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, in second place. Lingua Franca Nova I: English-Taught Programmes on the Rise in Mainland Europe

How to Keep Student Recruitment Agents on the Straight and Narrow

For universities both aspiring and elite, having international students on the books is an excellent way to build up their global reputation, draw in a wider pool of talent and, of course, bring in extra revenue. As you might expect, there is a lot of competition for recruiting international students, especially among universities with a smaller international profile. This has resulted in the widespread use of student recruitment agents, who bring interested students to universities and guide them through the application process in return for commission. Alongside this ‘soft’ help, the agent’s commission is sometimes taken out of a student’s tuition fees, providing a discount for students and more of a ‘hard’ incentive for them to use an agent.
