EUA responds to EC consultation on Smart Specialisation
The EUA Expert Group on RIS3 and the Research Policy Working Group (RPWG) worked in collaboration on response. The Expert Group met on 8 March in Brussels to formulate the Association’s input to the consultation aimed at finding a fresh approach to European growth and jobs through regional innovation strategies. RESAVER pension fund for researchers now operative
RESAVER is an occupational pension solution designed to meet the needs of the European research sector. The European Commission provided a neutral platform for dialogue to build the founding consortium of the fund. EUA participated in the Board of Directors as an observer ensuring that the varied circumstances of universities across Europe would be taken into consideration in the framework conditions of the pension scheme. From EUA’s membership base, the Central European University in Budapest is one of RESAVER’s full, founding members.
