Many students, teachers and researchers are among the Paris victims, and on behalf of the European university community EUA sends a message of solidarity and support to the French Conférence des Présidents d’Université (CPU) echoing their message “#Universitédebout – #NousSommesUnis.”
At this time EUA also recalls that only last Wednesday, 11 November 2015, it launched a new campaign entitled ‘European Universities for an Open World’, which calls on universities to reaffirm their commitment to the fundamental values of openness, tolerance and solidarity. This report contains more than 30 structural indicators that focus on country progress and key policy developments in five areas: early childhood education and care, achievement in basic skills, higher education, graduate employability, and learning mobility. Information covers all the EU Member States as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey. The reference year is 2014/15.
