By Susan Kenna. One piece of good news is that the Government proposes to change the ‘work test’ for access to their PPL. Currently employees must have no more than an 8 weeks gap between consecutive work days in order to be eligible. NTEU has lobbied on behalf of casual and contract workers for this gap to be increased to 14 weeks; the Government’s plans are to increase the gap to 12 weeks. More...
