The application process to attend OpenCon 2016 is now open

OpenCon 2016 will take place on November 12-14 in Washington, DC. and seeks to bring together effective, engaged students and early career academic professionals from around the world to advance Open Access, Open Education, and Open Data—regardless of their ability to pay for travel costs. The conference is hosted by SPARC and the Right to Research Coalition.
The application is available at http://www.opencon2016.org/apply and includes the opportunity to apply for a travel scholarship. Applications will close on July 11th at 11:59pm U.S. Pacific Time. More...

ESU stands in solidarity with UK students in expressing disappointment over Brexit outcome

Rapport L'Horty pour un accès égal à l'emploi public

Une mission a été confiée par le Premier ministre à Yannick L’Horty, Professeur à l’Université Paris-Est Marne-La-Vallée, sur l’évaluation des risques de discriminations des recrutements dans les trois versants de la fonction publique. Les résultats de la mission ont été rendus publics le 12 juillet 2016 par la remise d’un rapport dans lequel Yannick L’Horty offre un point de situation et évalue les mesures adoptées récemment. « Génération Apprenti(e)s » : programme court pour les jeunes

Du 11 juillet au 5 août 2016, M6 et W9 diffusent "Génération Apprenti(e)s", un programme court, parrainé par le Gouvernement, et qui propose au public de découvrir le parcours de trois apprentis.
A visionner sur : M6 vers 20h20 du lundi au dimanche, du 11 juillet au 1er août et sur W9 vers 13h20, 15h30 et 20h30, du lundi au vendredi, du 11 juillet au 5 août ou sur 6play.

La Région va expérimenter un dispositif d'avance du 1er loyer pour les jeunes en formation

La Région va créer un dispositif de caisse d’avance du premier loyer, à titre expérimental sur l’ensemble du territoire régional. L’objectif est d’avancer l’équivalent d’un mois ou d’un demi-mois de loyer aux jeunes de moins de 30 ans inscrits dans un parcours professionnel relevant de la Région (apprentissage, formation professionnelle, étudiants). Préparation du titre pro par l'apprentissage

Les dispositions réglementaires relatives aux titres professionnels sont actualisées pour intégrer leur organisation en blocs de compétences depuis le 1er juin 2016 (voir notre info) et leur préparation par l'apprentissage.
