Macau campus in China a magnet for illegal immigrants

Government approves universities for world-class bid

The Russian government has officially approved the list of leading universities that will receive state subsidies this year of RUB592 million (US$20 million) each to help improve their images in the international arena and their positions in global university rankings.

The issue of caste reservations is highly political, with elections due in five states and national elections scheduled for 2014. Lithuanian Minister of Education and Science: the Youth cannot stand stagnation

Such views were at the forefront at the meeting of the European Union member states’ education politicians, experts and practitioners. On 9-10 September, during the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, a conference entitled ‘Leadership in Education’ takes place in Vilnius. Representatives with direct links to education policy in EU member states discuss the role of leaders in ensuring the quality of the systems of education, their efficiency and effectiveness in a rapidly changing world. On-Line Debate: Validation of non-Formal and Informal Learning (VNIL) - take part on 17 September!

The debate will start on 17 September, and will last until 04 October.
This time, the French speaking community is taking the lead and proposes a debate in French on the topic:

What side would you take? The debate will be a space of reflection and discussion, open to all the professionals interested in the topic, with expert interventions from different countries in Europe. PROFESSIONNALISATION DES EMPLOIS AIDES : CUI-CAE,  CUI CIE  ET  EMPLOI D’AVENIR
REUNION D’INFORMATION TECHNIQUE A DESTINATION DES EMPLOYEURS DES ALPES MARITIMES
Dans un contexte de persistance d’un niveau de chômage élevé, l’insertion professionnelle des jeunes et des adultes constitue l’une des priorités de l’action gouvernementale.
A cet effet et afin de permettre l’accès des jeunes au marché de l’emploi, la loi 2012-1189 du 26 octobre 2012 instaure la création du dispositif des emplois d’avenir concernant les secteurs marchands et non marchand.
Ce  dispositif d’accès à l’emploi s’inscrit dans le cadre juridique du CUI :
* il est complémentaire au CAE (Contrat d’Accompagnement dans l’Emploi) auquel ont accès les employeurs du secteur non marchand et au CIE (Contrat Initiative Emploi) auquel ont accès les employeurs du secteur marchand
* Il bénéficie d’aides financières et vise à apporter dans le cadre d’un contrat de travail d’une durée de 1 à 3 ans, une expérience professionnelle à des jeunes en recherche d’emploi.
Afin d’accompagner la professionnalisation de ces publics sous contrats  aidés dans une optique d’accès ou de retour à l’emploi,

It also allows teachers the freedom to easily form learning groups to share resources and conduct discussions.
ExamTime empowers students to build best practices into their study habits – goal setting, personal learning styles, comprehension techniques, brainstorming, practice & testing and collaborative learning.
ExamTime has four major study tools that can be used by everyone:

  • Mind maps - for brainstorming and giving overviews of any topic.

Plan de Acción tutorial y diseño de un Ewat asociado a la asignatura "contabilidad de costes"

http://www.elearningeuropa.info/sites/default/files/imagecache/content_detail_picture/asset/ndice11_0.pngLa aplicación del nuevo sistema de créditos va a requerir un seguimiento regular y estrecho del trabajo del estudiante, un conocimiento del alumno y una nueva estructuración de la docencia.
El Plan de Acción Tutorial (P.A.T.) bien pudiera catalogarse como el instrumento a través del cual se diseña el contenido y ejecución de la tutoría universitaria. Tutoría que se enmarca en un cambio de paradigma universitario que pasa de superar el modelo específicamente académico únicamente preocupado por la transmisión de conocimientos a un modelo educativo en el que se mezclan las funciones anteriores con las funciones formativas-educativas (basadas en relaciones recíprocas y en la interacción profesor/alumno). Se intenta así superar la visión tradicional del profesor docente para extender un sistema de profesores tutores donde éstos, amén de cumplir sus labores típicas de transmisión de conocimientos, contribuyen a una educación global dirigida a impulsar el desarrollo integral de sus estudiantes en su dimensión intelectual, afectiva, personal y social.
