Formation Continue du Supérieur

Dans le cadre du programme Erasmus Mundus 2009-2013, l'agence Erasmus+ France Education & Formation a eu l'opportunité de participer à des projets financés dans le cadre d'un appel à propositions Action 3 restreint aux agences nationales.
Ces conférences ont permis aux participants de se rencontrer, de nouer de nouveaux contacts et de se former sur les programmes conjoints et les différents systèmes d'enseignement supérieur.Le projet INTERUV se termine à l'automne 2014 mais les ressources documentaires développées dans le cadre du projet resteront accessibles pendant plusieurs mois.

The European Students’ Union (ESU) welcomes a forward looking report presented today on new modes of learning and teaching. The report highlights that students are unique and so is the way they learn. Therefore, new ICT tools should cater for individual ways of learning, contributing to a real student-centred learning. Androulla Vassiliou, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, presented this report from the High Level Group on the Modernisation of Higher Education. A revised version of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, often referred to as the ESG, has now been published. The Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) endorsed this version at a meeting in September 2014.
The revised version will be a subject to approval at the Ministerial Conference of the Bologna Process to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, in May 2015. More...

In a broad term, it is a consequence of a whole series of reasons which can be described as emergence of the “knowledge-based economies", globalization and of the new wave of digital communication.

The American Council of Trustees and Alumni has issued its sixth report on the quality of college education, which is based on the inclusion in the curriculum of required courses in literature, US government or history, a foreign language, mathematics, economics, science and composition. The council believes that these courses are essential elements in a broad undergraduate education.
The council found that most Americans support a broad curriculum although many are sceptical about the quality of college education. In addition, colleges appear publicly supportive of a sound general core curriculum. However, surveys have also repeatedly found that students are ignorant of even the most basic facts of American government and history.
Altogether 1,098 four year colleges were assessed according to whether they required students to take courses in the seven core subjects.

UIL held a training workshop for directors and executives responsible for youth and adult education targeted specifically at women at national and provincial levels in Saudi Arabia. The aim of the workshop, which took place from 29 September to 10 October 2014 with the support of the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia, was to help the participants develop and review gender-sensitive policies and programmes in lifelong learning, tailored to the particular social and economic context of Saudi Arabia. More...

The UN Decade for Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) was instrumental in ensuring the inclusion of sustainability as a key value into educational strategies in German educational provision inside and outside the formal system. A broad coalition of players, including government officials from federal to community level, civil society organisations, the private sector and the media managed to sensitize decision-makers, researchers, activists and practitioners to put the objectives of the DESD into practice, as demonstrated during a national stock-taking conference in Bonn on 29–30 September 2014.
