AERES :: Le projet CeQuint

Logo AmueLe projet CeQuint (Certificate for Quality of Internationalisation), co-financé par l’Union européenne, vise à évaluer, améliorer et récompenser la qualité de l’internationalisation, au niveau des établissements d’enseignement supérieur, par l’attribution d’un certificat européen. Les partenaires du projet, dont l’AERES, ont développé une méthode d’évaluation centrée sur les différents aspects de l’internationalisation. L’Agence met en ligne sur son site le rapport d’évaluation de l’université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne qui s’est déroulée en avril 2013. Suite à celle-ci, l’université a obtenu la certification CeQuint.

Projet européen CeQuint

AERESDepuis 2012, l’AERES participe au projet CeQuint (Certificate for Quality of Internationalisation), co-financé par le programme « Education et formation tout au long de la vie » de l’Union européenne. Il vise à évaluer, améliorer et récompenser la qualité de l’internationalisation, au niveau des établissements d’enseignement supérieur ou des programmes, par l’attribution d’un certificat européen. À cet effet , les partenaires du projet ont développé et expérimenté une méthode d’évaluation centrée sur les différents aspects de l’internationalisation.
En 2013, les évaluations ‘pilotes’ ont été lancées pour quatre établissements et huit programmes de formation en Europe. Pour la France, l’université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne et le diplôme d’ingénieur de l’Ecole des Ponts, se sont portés volontaires.
L’AERES a préparé et coordonné l’évaluation de l’université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne qui s’est déroulée en avril 2014. Suite à celle-ci, l’université a obtenu la certification CeQuint. Le rapport d’évaluation est rendu public ce jour.

EUREQA project update: publication translations and training workshop

LogoEUA is currently coordinating the EUREQA project* (“Empowering Universities to fulfil their responsibility for Quality Assurance”) which aims to support universities in the Western Balkans in developing their internal QA systems. In the context of this project, the EUA publication, “Examining Quality Culture” (parts II and III) has been translated into Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian. Meanwhile, the third EUREQA training workshop took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 4 to 5 September.
Examining Quality Culture in Higher Education Institutions” (EQC) was a project funded by the European Commission and coordinated by EUA (2009-2012), with the aim of identifying internal quality assurance processes in place in institutions, focusing in particular on the implementation of part 1 of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Quality in higher education sacrificed for quantity

The recent findings of the Inter-University Council for East Africa regarding the quality of graduates in Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda must be considered a wake-up call for African higher education. In higher education quality is in the eye of the beholder

In his National Press Club address, Christopher Pyne argued that higher education deregulation will “transform opportunities for Australians, particularly young Australians to get the quality higher education in Australia that they deserve” and enable Australia to “create some of the best universities in the world and the best higher education system in the world”.
