Called UNI-SET (Universities in the SET-Plan), it aims to mobilise European universities’ expertise to address common European goals in the context of the European Union’s Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan), the technology pillar of the EU Energy and Climate policy. The multinational project Vegucation improves the current vocational training for future chefs. Furthermore an additional training is to be conceptualized to educate skilled “veganvegetarian” chefs. Project Website.
The consortium consists of different NGOs and gastronomical schools from four different countries; Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands. The main goals of the project are providing and implementing a professional job training with contemporary and appealing contents together with an additional training for people who already operate in the gastronomical sector to develop a European syllabus including teaching materials for plant based cuisine. The Q4I project, which started in December 2012, aims to develop, test and mainstream a quality development approach for schools that includes a strong commitment to innovation and that is based on the participation of all key stakeholders: students, teachers and parents, employers and representatives of local community. Après une enquête pilote conduite en 2007, les instances du CNV se sont prononcées en 2009 en faveur d’une collecte annuelle et plus complète d’informations auprès de ses affiliés au travers de questions intégrées dans le formulaire annuel d’affiliation et la fourniture rendue obligatoire du bilan et du compte de résultat de la structure pour l’année écoulée.
Parmi les principaux objectifs de cette observation pérenne :

• améliorer la connaissance de la structuration des entreprises affiliées (et du secteur)
• mettre en lumière les principaux soldes, ratios de gestion et financiers des structures du secteur en fonction de leurs caractéristiques
• parvenir à estimer le poids du secteur en termes d’emplois, de chiffre d’affaires, de valeur ajoutée. Voir l'article...
