PACE - Project actors community in Europe

The LLP has funded a number of projects which developed tools to support other LLP project actors in effectively and efficiently implementing their projects. But although (parts of) most products would be relevant for the whole programme, the dissemination and exploitation range of these projects is often limited to the sub-programme/education sector in question. Many of the support products take a rather conventional form: paper-based guidance publications, conventional face-to-face-trainings and conferences, as well as static websites are prevailing. They often lack an attractive feel, and they do not make sufficient use of the potential of multimedia and Social Media. Eucen - Projects

eucen has coordinated EU-funded projects for over 20 years. Regularly submits project proposals to the European Commission. eucen also accepts to become partner of other EU-funded projects, each occasion with a specific role, from evaluators to workpackage leaders for dissemination or exploitation. The products of eucen's projects are tools, reports, analysis, online observatories, etc. Outputs produced by projects are free to use and openly available. Home Changing labour market conditions affect individuals’ life courses. More and more people have to face career interruptions and changes, especially during an economic crisis. Coping with instability and insecurity in life as well as with career and life changes requires specific adaptability skills as well as lifelong learning. Public policy works towards shortening unemployment spells and reduce the risk of dead-end careers, floundering periods and burn-outs. Therefore lifelong learning and effective career guidance must be supported. This project line focuses on understanding better how individuals experience career transitions to develop effective policies – in particular for adult learning and career guidance - that can support citizens and prepare them for long and successful careers.
